Digimon Xros Wars: Hunter Boys Crossing Time (デジモンクロスウォーズ 時を駆ける少年ハンターたち, Dejimon Kurosu Wōzu - Toki wo Kakeru Shounen Hantā-tachi) is an upcoming anime series in Toei Animation's Digimon franchise and is the sequel to Digimon Xros Wars, it will be the seventh entry into the franchise and the first series since Digimon Adventure 02 to serve as a direct sequel to the preceding series. Riku Sanjo who was the chief script writer for the first Xros Wars series will return in the same capacity. The show will begin airing in Japan on October 2nd, 2011, following the final episode of Xros Wars.[1]

Plot

Promotional material for the series from V-Jump magazine states that the series will deal with new worlds, new friends, and new Digimon. The story will take place four years after Xros Wars and revolve around the gap between the human and digital world and introduce new generals. Taigiru Akashi and Ren Tobari will join Taiki Kudou and Yuu Amano as the lead protagonists while new characters Ryōma Mogami and Airu Suzaki will act as a mysterious duo with their agendas. Taigiru is said to have a connection to the gap between worlds and much of the story will revolve around him and Taiki.[2]
