Dear Matt |
|||
Having clearly read the terms and conditions of Wikipedia and its main aim in reference to the content published on it, I am really disappointed on biased updates you made. |
|||
If really you want to help readers to have trustwothy information, why not published all information available on the person of Etienne Tshisekedi. |
|||
I will agree with you, if you say that it is not possible to publish all these information about just one person; therefore, I will be happy seeing you opened to receive some constructive comments and amend accordingly what is not trustworthy. |
|||
My sincere apologies, if in one way or other you felt that I have ignored/offended your role as an administrator. |
|||
I believe indeed in a collaborative input and work which will help readers to have trustworthy information. By experience, I know that the time is the perfect judge to what we do. It will be a damage to yourself as Editor and Administrator if in future one of your postings has been declared and rated as non trustworthy. |
|||
Please understand that I am here to help. |
|||
Again apologies for any misunderstanding. |
|||
Kind regards |

Below Ice
May I have the reason you felt it necessary to delete the page "Below Ice"? BestRate (talk) 14:41, 17 September 2011 (UTC)
- I deleted Below Ice as it was an article about a band that didn't state why the group are notable. Any articles like this are liable to be deleted immediately. Our WP:MUSIC guidelines show what needs to be in an article about a band to qualify for inclusion – I hope this helps. matt (talk) 09:03, 18 September 2011 (UTC)

The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Lathom Hall.You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. Inside Islam wiki page
Hi Matt,
I was wondering why you removed my unfinished Inside Islam:What a Billion Muslims Really Think wiki entry.
Thanks, Natalie — Preceding unsigned comment added by Peacethroughthemedia (talk • contribs) 19:22, 19 September 2011 (UTC)
- Hi Natalie. The Inside Islam: What a Billion Muslims Really Think article was deleted as it was overtly promotional, was not neutral in its wording, and could not be verified through third party sources (being apparently lacking in notability). It also seemed to be a copyright violation of this web page; there is no evidence on that website that the content may be reused – so by default we assume it cannot. Of course, if you're the copyright owner, you can donate materials to Wikipedia. If you're interested in this, please see the page on donating copyrighted materials. DYK for Aintree Institute

The fact was ... that Brian Epstein was so angered that The Beatles were paid in loose change for a gig at the Aintree Institute, he never booked with the venue's promoter again? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Aintree Institute.You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. hello
excuse, please help. i notice how you delete my page GRIFF. well, i am GRIFF. i want a wikipedia page, because i'm trying to become something of myself. will be on itunes today — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jmdonadio725 (talk • contribs) 10:54, 25 September 2011 (UTC)
- Hi GRIFF. Our page WP:BAND should help – it outlines what a musician or band needs to have achieved (such as record sales, interviews or tours) to satisfy our notability criteria. If GRIFF has done any one of the things listed on that page, all you need to do is add a citation and you're done! If you need any help writing things for Wikipedia, let me know – I've been here a while and know the ropes, so let me know! Cheers, matt (talk) 11:17, 25 September 2011 (UTC)
Changes on Etienne Tshisekedi biography
Dear Matt,
Thank you very much for your research you completed on Etienne Tshisekedi biography.
However, there are untrue and non trustworthy elements you have used in your updates.
For instance, the quote used about the assassination of Emery Patrice Lumumba; some external links used are not legitimate links. I will spare you from listing numerous faults in your updates.
Having read your profile as an administrator with an experience of more than 4 years in editing and publishing on Wikipedia; I believe that you are experienced to publish neutral and trustworthy contents on Wikipedia.
I also believe that although an editor might not be biased but the sources s/he referred to might be biased especially when it comes to comments/quotes from somebody else and not relating the facts as there are.
The person of Etienne Tshisekedi is regarded as a national emblem of the Democratic Republic of Congo, although he did some mistakes but he struggled for his own country at his own expenses, his own family and political friends some of lost their lives; therefore an editor writing about him should be completely impartial and consider all facts of his life.
You have reacted to our last update and considered it as being less referenced. We would like, if you can, to notify us elements that are not well referenced and we will endeavour to improve our last update.
Thank you very much for your anticipated help.
Kind regards
