The School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada popularly known as SPA Vijayawada or SPAV, is a National Resource Institute of India located in Andhra Pradesh, about 8 km from the city of Vijayawada in the Nidamanuru suburb.
Established in 2008 as one of the SPA, the School quickly rose among the ranks of architecture universities and is currently one of the most prestigious universities in India. It is a premier Centrally Funded Technical Institution (CFTI) under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. Currently there are 3 SPAs all over India, administered under the MHRD, Government of India. Other than SPAV, the other 2 SPAs are at Delhi and Bhopal.
