I count 15/8, or 3 measures of 4/4 and a measure of 3/4 [[Special:Contributions/76.14.34.90|76.14.34.90]] ([[User talk:76.14.34.90|talk]]) 20:35, 4 February 2012 (UTC)

Rosie

"Rosie and the Originals" were a real band. They recorded "Angel Baby."

7/8 time

isn't the verse part alternating between 4/4 and 7/8? thus, 15/16 seems incorrect. it might be better to say "The verses alternate between 4/4 and 7/8 time".

You're right, it is indeed 7/8 time. I have edited the article accordingly. Metsfanmax 21:19, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tesla cover

Didn't Tesla cover this song for Enconium, only to have it left off? If anyone can confirm this (I've never heard it) and cite it, that would be great.

John Bonham and John Paul Jones harmonizing?

I'm just wondering: is there any source that says specifically John Bonham and John Paul Jones are harmonizing the "doo-wop" vocals? Because to me, it sounds like a Robert Plant overdub. I've never heard John Paul Jones sing, but going by John Bonham's singing voice on the Led Zeppelin DVD, I think John Bonham sings in a lower range than that. If someone could confirm this, that would be great. 66.109.192.73 02:32, 31 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Led Zeppelin - The Ocean.ogg

Image:Led Zeppelin - The Ocean.ogg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

I do not remember the intro on the LP. NantucketNoon (talk) 05:06, 31 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Guitar drop-out

Is 3:21-3:23 just from sloppy playing or what? I'm surprised that wasn't picked up in the recording process and played again. Theres a couple other weak parts in there as well. This isn't a slag on Jimmy, just a casual fan hoping someone has an answer. --Randomguy —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.229.110.175 (talk) 07:51, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

People being too picky

Just wondering, what do all these people do, go through Led Zep songs looking for mistakes? The 'c' sound is probably just tape hiss. Sinebot, the 'drop-out' was probably played on purpose. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gtpck32 (talkcontribs) 23:27, 25 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, Page was asked about this in an interview, and he conceded that hitting the 'c' was probably a mistake, adding you have to be reasonably honest about these things. I've tried to find the interview online (with little luck) but it was one of the only- if not the only- guitar interviews he did in the mid 70s and was reprinted about 6 years ago in Total Guitar UK. Whether or not it's notable enough for an encyclopedic mention is another story. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.71.67.123 (talk) 16:22, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

aqua teen

Carl air guitars this song many times during the course of the show. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.33.138.221 (talk) 09:20, 30 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
