Thanks for removing the attack on my user page from 69.112.108.167. Based on the fact that he signed his name here , he's Eric Norcross, who usually signs in as: Sevenlinefeatures. He's the writer, director, producer, cinematographer, actor, editor of The Long Island Project, an extremely low-budget indy movie that is going through an AfD right now. Based on the timing, he may have been unhappy about a response I gave, thats now on the AfD's talk page. Since there's no indication the movie actually has any real release (their promotional websites are on geocities and myspace), the article's almost certainly going to be deleted. I guess he's not happy about it. Fan1967 15:37, 15 April 2006 (UTC)

Hi! Just wanted to say I thought your recent edits to Calvin and Hobbes were well done. Nice job! Alanyst 02:39, 17 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Lasertag

Thanks for catching my careless typing. - Stephanie Daugherty (Triona) - Talk - Comment - 04:07, 8 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree pictures would be nice. Going to be difficult to accomplish that though, at least of indoor lasertag (which is probably more prevelant). The lighting used doesn't lend itself to easy photography, not to mention that the arenas themselves could probably be classified as "creative works" and therefore under copyright. I'll see what I can figure out - I don't have a camera currently that performs with almost no visible light. - Stephanie Daugherty (Triona) - Talk - Comment - 07:48, 10 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Substituting templates

Hi. I just had an edit collision with you while dropping a note on an anonymous user's talk page. I just thought I'd let you know that it's suggested that you use subst: with user warning templates. Thanks for helping out with the vandals! -- Zwilson 06:47, 15 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your support of the Article Improvement Drive.
This week Contact lens was selected to be improved to featured article status.
Hope you can help…

Moe

That's OK. I think you can justifiably prod a character if you think he's non notable, but as there's a few fictional characters named Moe and as the article had no content I think a disambiguation page would do it. CanadianCaesar The Republic Restored 04:57, 1 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

RfC on john o

1. You forgot to sign the RfC.

2. In order to have the RfC "certified", you will need to get another signature to it within 48 hours from the first signature. I assume that someone else also tried to reason with john o about the tags. Please get them to sign also.

3. See my summary of the case in the RfC. (-: Robert McClenon 00:30, 6 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've posted a note on John oh's talk page about our deletion process. AGF, this editor may have just needed to have this VERY CLEARY spelled out to them, but this seems as more of a process issue, then of a true vandalism issue, thus my prior delisting on AIV. Due to their history, I'd probally support short term blocks if they breach WP:1RR regarding removal of xfd notices in the future now, as diruptive editing. xaosflux Talk/CVU 14:24, 12 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hopefully that talk note was all it took, and they didnt jsut go on wikibreak :) xaosflux Talk/CVU 02:00, 14 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

My RFA

Thanks for participating in my RfA. It passed with a final tally of 98/13/10, just two short of making WP:100. If you need my help with anything, don't hesitate to ask.

Calvin and Hobbes - Important Disucssion

Would you mind coming down to the Calvin and Hobbes talk page to disucss whether or not we should keep fan sites in the links? There seems to be someone who think we should not. Thank you! Mjg0503 00:09, 15 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I regret to advise you that the RFC you filed on John oh was not certified by two or more users within 48 hours of its creation, and as a result it has been deleted. Stifle 23:19, 15 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Homosexual interpretations of Batman

Noticed your comments on this were unrelated to the reason for deletion. I do not dispute the quality of the material, only its improper fork from its legitimate place. I would be grateful for your thoughts on this matter. Haiduc 04:00, 20 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Taylor Lea Thomas

Just wanted to drop you a note to let you know that the article on Taylor Lea Thomas has undergone significant changes as you will see and will continue to improve with time. I appreciate you reading the article in the first place. We are trying all we can to make the article better suited for Wikipedia because Ms. Thomas has accomplished a lot and has received many awards and press for it and therefore, appropriate for this medium. I hope that you will soon see this for yourself and opt instead to keep the article. Thank you kindly. Peter Sanders 14:15, 20 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for voting on my RfA. It passed with a consensus to promote of 45/7/1. To those of you concerned about the fact that I am a relative newcomer, I encourage you to poke me with a sharp stick if I make a mistake. Or better yet, let me know on my talk page, and I'll do my best to fix it. Makemi 04:46, 25 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

My RfA

My RfA recently closed and it was a success, passing at 84-02-00. I would like to thank you for taking the time to weigh in and on your subsequent support. And I know it's quite cliche, but if you ever need any assistance by an admin, grab a Pepsi and don't hesitate to drop me a line on my talk page. Thanks again. User:E Series

Just to let you know, the immature user was imitating you on his user talk page. I'm not sure if that's allowed or not, but I thought I'd tell you. Philc 0780 21:27, 31 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the tip, much appreciated. I have corrected the mistake. Andreas 07:45, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Villain article

I was told that I could edit pages as long as the edits made a reasonable amount of sense, and that this was a place for people to share their knowledge. Well, I told them that if people are going to edit my new section while I'm, while I'm trying to expand it then I should be able to revert it while I'm finding sources for my names so I don't see why I should have to stand for this because I enjoy, making reasonable edits to Wikipedia and I've been accused of vandalism in the past when I was just trying to add to articles and if my writing is of poor quality, then just say so and give me the benefit of the doubt regarding vandalism and trolling because just because I'm not the best writer doesn't make me a troll or a vandal and I told, I told them that I'm just trying to expand Wikipedia especially on a former featured article like villain, but then they called me a troll, and just because I don't write very well or very important things doesn't make me a troll, what happened to don't bite the newcomers and benefit of the doubt? And I received a message calling my contributions worthless and saying I'm harassing the other editors when I just thought that it wasn't right to blank out new sections just because some person or other doens't find it interesting, well not everything on Wikipedia has to be interesting, it jsut has to be factual and my list while incomplete is quite accurate, so I don't see why I'm being called a troll and a vandal and a harrasser of respected editors when I have done nothing malicious, an I don't understand why Wikipedia as such mixed messages in the guidelines such as Be Bold and now I am being ostracized as a troll, when perhaps the real problem is that my writing is poor perhaps? That's certainly possible, but I am not a troll so continue to eliminate my contributions if you feel it is necessary but do not be so rash as to assume I'm a troll, because if I'm banned from reading Wikipedia because my motives are being called into question by strangers, I'll never improve my contributions if I get banned so soon after learning to edit the pages and I don't see how the Wikipedia community has ever expanded so greatly when newcomers are treated like so, so I certainly hope that I am an unlucky and isolated case, and if not I could write a letter to the Wikipedia staff to complain about their treatment of newcomers, and dissuade people from joining the editing community and suffering similiar abuses.

Sorry for the long message but when I receive such harsh accusations as trolling and harassment from various users (not just you) I feel the need to defend myself before I receive the banhammer. 70.171.59.231 04:38, 7 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

...for tagging the Talk page of Wenzeled, I missed it. It was not deleted "without discussion" mind, there was a short-lived AfD here Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Wenzeled, note the references to other and previous incarnations. The article has been deleted by four separate admins as an attack. Just zis Guy you know? 12:18, 10 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the barnstar

I just noticed it. I try to do the homework on the AfD's, because it seems a lot of people vote in a knee jerk fashion, or have some point they're trying to make. I also try to be polite to the newcomers, even when they're being really obtuse about why their newly minted word or religion doesn't make the cut. Fan1967 04:50, 13 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

RE: Indentation

Yes, I do that sometimes in long discussions. Although I see that I should have done it at C&H because the previous user had not signed his comment. Thanks for pointing that out for me. - Michael Goonantalk 02:28, 14 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Attack on my talk page
