You were of course correct to do a revert (and I am in no way offended that you did). For the record, I make the occasional random edit but this is the first time I've ever intentionally defaced a Wikipedia page (Felt quite good. I recommend you try it at least once with a sock IP on any subject close to your heart). The edit wasn't made in malice. It's a sincere heartfelt statement in response to this article published in their newspaper.

Companies always monitor their page on Wikipedia and on the Internet (public image and all that). My expectation is some of the staff will eventually notice my comments in the history page... which will take them to the edit in question... which will make it far clearer to their staff what Andreas Kilb sounds like when they are on the receiving end. I believe in his right to free speech-including the right to say things that are unpopular (including the historical narrative in the article I found a little too Gestapo-sounding for my tastes). I also believe in using one's free speech wisely rather than spitting out whatever hate filled smug self-righteous hypocrisy enters one's mind. (or else if one is going to pick a fight-it seems rational to expect the same royal treatment back as others respond in self-defense)
Any how, thanks for your restraint in limiting yourself to "unconstructive". Albeit it was obvious vandalism you refreshingly didn't match the stereotype of the overreacting roid raging Wikipedia admin terrorizing random ips (my theory is to make up for a lack of any power in real life and possibly insecurities over a very small schwantz). I HAVE NEVER EDITED THE OAKLAND ATHLETICS PAGE EVER, I HAVE NEVER VISITED THAT SITE. YOU HAVE MISTAKEN ME FOR ANOTHER PERSON, AND I AM NOT MALICIOUSLY EDITING ARTICLES WITH INCORRECT REDIRECTS. PLEASE ERASE THE MESSAGE IN THE 'LAST CHANGE' BOX NOW.
You may have noticed over the past few days that the MOTD that you link to on your user page has simply displayed a red link. This is due to the fact that not enough people are reviewing pending MOTDs here. Please help us keep the MOTD template alive and simply go and review a few of the MOTDs in the list.
