I'm asking because some people named "J.E.L.L.i." released an album under CC-BY-3.0(more permissive license even than wikipedia!) on December 03, 2009 called "A Jolly J.E.L.L.i. Christmas" and one of their songs is "Frosty" (similar or same lyrics as "Frosty the Snowman") --> http://www.jamendo.com/en/track/478595 . If you know that "Frosty the Snowman" is copyrighted(which I suspect it is) please let me know. Uhm, just read right now on List_of_parties_to_international_copyright_agreements and it seems that USA signed their first international copyright treaty on September 16th, 1955. Maybe any internal laws in the USA that still makes it copyrighted in any way? Logictheo (talk) 18:04, 19 August 2010 (UTC) |

Has anyone else noticed the major inconsistancy between the original song and the TV version? In the song, he says: "I'll be back again, some day." But, in the TV version, he is quoted as saying: "I'll be back, on Christmas Day." ToaJuaraevo (talk) 18:57, 24 October 2012 (UTC) |

Frosty the snowman is an american classic that gets little attention and respect. So what if Rudolph saved Christmas one time? Frosty rocks and should get SOOO much more attention than he does.
- You're right. Frosty is a pimp daddy!
Bad Mister Frosty?
Was Bad Mister Frosty in the video game Clay Fighter named after Frosty the Snowman?
- Obviously yes.
Canadian Brass version "darkly humorous"?
What makes it so?
Copyright status of this song? Released by what label?
