Shane Bunting (born October 21, 1973), better known by stage name Mad Child, is a Canadian rapper. He is part of the Vancouver-based hip hop group Swollen Members. In 2009, he released his solo EP entitled The Mad Child EP. In 2001, he was named a member of the legendary 'Rock Steady Crew'.

In early 2011 it was reported that he was banned from entering the United States, evidently due to alleged ties with the Hells Angels biker gang. Bunting said that he was detained at an American airport for approximately 8 hours before being told he could not enter the country, and is currently working with a lawyer in San Diego, California to rectify the situation.[2][3]

In August 2011, he returned to his battle roots by taking part in a rap battle for King of the Dot. He went up against Dirtbag Dan and won on a 3-2 decision.[4] He will be returning to King of the Dot later in 2012 to battle with Australian rapper 360.[5][6]
