* Well you should undelete it then as the term Network transmission means that all ITV regions, or other, screen episodes on the same day at the same time, this did not occur on the New Avengers first run on ITV, the various ITV regions screened it on different days and times i.e.not all simultaneously, thus the first genuine UK network transmission was the 1995 BBC2 (same time and day in every region get it?) it does not mean that ITV is not a genuine Network station understand????[[Special:Contributions/81.111.126.82|81.111.126.82]] ([[User talk:81.111.126.82|talk]]) 03:36, 3 May 2013 (UTC)

Page name

Hi. Should this article move to The New Avengers (which redirects here)? Or is there another New Avengers it might need disambiguating from? —Whouk (talk) 08:31, 26 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Marvel Comics has a comic book series called The New Avengers, so if anything the redirect page should become a disambiguation page. 23skidoo 13:45, 26 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
That's fair enough then - although a disambig page isn't really needed for two. If we can get a consensus as to what's the more likely search (and therefore the more useful to have at the disambiguated name), that can go at The New Avengers and both articles would have dablinks above the lead. —Whouk (talk) 14:06, 26 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe you can straighten this out. I was under the impression that Wikistyle says to disambiguate even with 2, and I've seen a number of AFD votes that would seem to bear this out. Are you aware of any particular policy one way or the other? 23skidoo 18:08, 26 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia:Disambiguation#Top links says you only need a disambig page for more than two. —Whouk (talk) 18:28, 26 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:AvengersBook2.jpg

Image:AvengersBook2.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 21:53, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Escapade

I removed the reference to Escapade carrying the subtitle "Avengers USA". I can find nothing in any of my sources to support this, and in fact the only references to this subtitle evident on Google are mirrors of this article, or unsourced blogs/forum entries, many of which refer to this article. WP:RS needs to come into play here; a source needs to be cited if we're going to claim it was ever called Avengers USA. 68.146.81.123 (talk) 19:33, 6 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

BBC Four: Networking?

The article states: "The series began a repeat run on BBC Four on the 13 November 2008. This is the first time the series has been networked since its screening by the BBC in 1995." Can BBC Four be considered a network? I am not sure if it's available terrestrially or just on cable. 216.105.208.2 (talk) 13:32, 28 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It is by digital terrestrial, and is a national network. Nick Cooper (talk) 12:10, 29 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
