Anamika ([One without a name)] Error: {{Lang-xx}}: text has italic markup (help)) is a television series on Sony Entertainment Television India and Sony Entertainment Television Asia which premiered on 26 November 2012 at 8:00 p.m. It is Vikas Seth's debut show as a producer on Sony Television and is based on a love story with a supernatural touch.It airs in Pakistan on Express Entertainment

Plot

The Beginning

It is a foggy night. Jeet's (Mudit Nayar) car has broken down in a deserted road in Mohali, Punjab amidst forests. He is trying to repair it but he has no knowledge of mechanics as he is a boxer. In the silence he hears the cries of a woman. He follows the cries but is unable to find anything. After he returns to the car, he meets a mechanic who repairs his car and he leaves. He does not know that his bracelet had slipped off his wrist in the forest while searching for the crying woman.

On the other hand Rano (Annie Gill) is biding goodbye to her mother (Namrata Dhamija) , who is going on a pilgrimage with Rano's younger sister Guddi (Anisha Vora) to Jammu. Jeet comes to pick up Rano and they leave for Jeet's house in Chandigarh. Rano is unhappy to know that Jeet has lost his bracelet which she gave him. Jeet tries to find it in the car in vain. He also find the entrance gate to be open, on which the guard says that he had locked it.

The next day when Jeet is washing his car he finds his bracelet in the car. It is later shown that Rano is madly in love with Jeet but is unable to confess it. However, Jeet's grandmother, Bebe (Madhu Malti), and later his parents know about this. Rano agrees to marry someone else but later the 'rishta' gets declined. Meanwhile, Jeet is seen running into a mysterious woman (Simran Kaur) always surrounded with fog. And whenever he goes to that particular road in Mohali, incidents like his car stopping to work etc. happen and he always gets a lift from that mysterious woman, who was still in the dark. He tries to talk with her, but mysteriously she keeps quiet and doesn't answer his questions. Odd occurrences, like sprains getting healed, happen parallel to his meetings with her. She later on tells that her name is Anamika. She is shown to be very beautiful and lives alone in a large creepy bungalow in the forests of Mohali. Ever since Jeet met Anamika, she makes all those who do wrong to him meet very bad circumstances. She is shown to be an expert guitar player, being the owner of an old but expensive guitar which has the name "Anand Kumar" engraved to its surface. Jeet fails to notice. She wants Jeet a lot. Jeet is strangely attracted and starts falling for Anamika.

Jeet and Rano agree to marry after a lot of confusion and conflicts. Later it is revealed that Anamika is a witch. She then proceeds to seduce Jeet and then marries him on a lunar eclipse. Rano is terrified and tries to save Jeet, but in vain. Anamika further hypnotises Jeet and drinks his blood. Suddenly one day, he stumbles upon a small unused room in Anamika's home and is terrified to see 16 corpses hanging over there. He tries to escape but Anamika captures him again.

Jeet tells Anamika he needs some fresh air and Anamika takes him to her favorite place, but all Jeet wanted to do is to escape. Rano who is somehow indirectly married to Jeet goes on mission in the forest to find Jeet. She sees him running, but loses him. Jeet reaches in front of his house where Bebe sees him, but Anamika teleports him to her house. She tells him that she is a ghost who really loves him.

Rano and Bebe tells the whole family they saw Jeet and Rano wishes to perform a puja in the forest. As they reach the forest, with great difficulty they get Jeet back. Anamika jumps into the same lake where as she died. The priest shows up at the house and inspects Jeet's room. As he inspects it, the ceiling fan falls and Jeet's father (Deepak Dutta) and brother said it was from a loose screw. When they leave, one of Jeet's shirts disappears from his bed. Now Jeet is going to go to a party with his friends but his friend organized the party in the same place where all bad things happened but Jeet lost his memories about Anamika. Later, Then Rano's friend called her and tell her about this party Rano went to the party and bring Jeet back . Now Jeet's family arrange a sangeet for Rano. In that saneget Rano's dupatta catches fire then the priest check it and he was scared while checking the duppata. When he goes out of Jeet's house he sees a ghostly light outside of a window and gets very scared and starts running. Then Rano went to her house and The "Priest" (Anamika disguised as him) called her on her mobile and told to meet her in front of Jeet's house.

Next day when Rano saw The "Priest" standing in front Jeet's house. She asked why The "Priest" called her, Priest said that come with me in the temple which is located in mountains. They go to the mountains and they took a route that The Priest said was a shortcut, and a mass of fog appears and The "Priest" is nowhere to be seen. Rano's foot slips on a rock and she falls but quickly catches the ledge of a cliff and she screams for help. Jeet goes looking for Rano and saw his brother's car outside and he gets out of his car and heads towards the screams. He finds Rano delirious and with a large cut on her head. He rescues here and then the scene changes to the real priest. He is in a dark room most likely in Anamika's house and sees a light that was an open door and runs towards it. While exiting the jungle, he gets on the road and all of a sudden a truck hits him and he becomes unconscious and falls onto the road.

Rano recovers slowly and then Jeet's Nani as well as Bebe call The "Priest" and he comes over. When entering through the gate to enter the house property, he walks right through the gate and attempts to enter the house when Jeet's Nani and Bebe invite him but he cannot enter because there is a magical force since there was a statue of Mata Durga by the door. He then makes an excuse and says he is fine outside and then the family's dog starts barking at him. Later, there is a party for the ladies.In Saluja house Jeet try to find out the theme of the party, even though men are not allowed, but still went there and scene changes to Rano's house where Rano get ready for the party and suddenly someone take her "Duppata" which was on the bed and hang it on her neck. That was Jeet. After Jasleen starts to knock on Rano's door and Rano tells Jeet to hide in the closet. Jasleen tells Rano to hurry up, just then Jeet sees a cockroach in the closet and quickly gets out of the closet. Jasleen sees him and takes him outside and Bebe makes him dance like a girl. After Jeet leaves, Rano is standing in front of the mirror and then someone is moving her hand making her pick the "Kajal". The next day Ranu is brought to a hospital and was diagnosed with a depression but it was to be final when the report arrived. After everybody is told, they worry but Jeet reassures them. Later at evening, Rano brings the dog outside to give him food but he keeps barking. Rano keeps telling the dog that there is not anything there but the dog continues to bark and move. She stares at a tree and there is a large amount of fog around it. The dog continues to bark and then Rano's moves him back to his bowl and Rano's autistic sister (Guddi) comes outside to look and stares blankly. The camera switches to the moon, which is full and reddish looking (Lunar Eclipse), and Anamika becomes visible (only to the audience). Anamika grabs Rano's arm and she struggles to release Anamika's grip, but is speechless. Anamika leads Rano to a rope-woven pot that is outside and contains a coil of rope and a curved blade (Grassa, used to cut grass in India) Rano stops fighting back and is mind-controlled by Anamika and is led to the dog. Rano lifts up the blade and all of a sudden her sister screams and everybody comes running to see what is happening. Anamika disappears and Rano comes back into consciousness and gets paranoid. The next day, Rano's mother and Jeet's father go to the hospital to receive the report. The doctor gets an important phone call and is busy talking. The nurse puts the report on the desk and then leaves. While Rano's mother is talking to Jeet's father, the camera switched to the desk and a gray wave changes all of the normal statuses to abnormal ones and then is diagnosed with an abnormal condition from stress or her head injury on the cliff. The next day, a new priest is called to help. He performs some rituals and says that he needs time to figure out if Rano is in danger. That night Anamika kills the priest and calls in his voice and informs that Rano is safe.when jeet and Ranos wedding is about to take place Rano runs away . jeet gets a letter from Chikoo. he immediately goes to search for Rano . he prays at the temple and ties a holy thread on his wrist and vows that he will not take it off till he finds Rano . after many difficulties he finds Rano and they marry in a temple at Jaipur.

After marriage Jeet and Rano comes back to Mohali to tell everything to their families. At first their families got shock after knowing all this. And Jeet's Naani opposes all this and went back to her home after giving blessings to both. Then Saluja family decides to have a Hawan at home for peace and prosperity. And after Hawan (Puja) both Jeet and Rano can stay together as a married couple. Next day they call Pandit ji (Priest) to perform religious Puja at their home. And on other hand Anamika takes some hair of Rano to perform some black magic. And at Puja when Rano was supposed to pour Ganga Jal, there comes kerosene oil (with Anamika's black magic) and the Puja gets destroyed by burning all the materials and their home temple. Then Pandit ji advices to close the temple door until next puja and rituals are performed. Everyone at home was so disturbed with this mishappening. Next day there was a function at home for the newly wed bride Rano. All ladies came to give blessings to Rano and give gifts. During ceremony when Rano was getting ready, the weather gets worst with storm and rain and the light goes off. Then she listens the voice of a woman crying in her room. Then she checks around but no one is there, as she can not see Anamika there. After function, they all started dancing including Rano. And Suddenly the spirit of Anamika enters into the Rano's body and starts dancing on some music. Then everyone is surprised. On the other hand Jeet and his friends are caught seeing performance and spying in ladie's function.Mrs.Gill asks Rano that from where did she learn the classical dance?"Rano" insults Mrs.Gill and leaves from there saying that she is tired and is waiting for Jeet upstairs.After sometime Anamika gets impatient that why Jeet did not turn up? There Jasleen and Balraj share some romantic moments. Jeet enters his room and is shocked to see "Rano" in such a romantic mood. Next day when Rano wakes up, she is shocked that where did that thread go which Jeet tied her. She then goes to kitchen wearing her mother-in-law's mangal sutra. Again after breakfast.Jeet calls Rano in their room and romance. After sometime Jasleen calls Rano to cut the vegetables and puts on yesterday's function CD. Rano is shocked to see herself dancing like that as she did not remember all that had happened last night.

Then again evening falls again Anamika enters Rano. When Jeet's mother asks Rano about rebuilding the temple Rano insults her saying, " Here after you give all your responsibilities to me. I will handle everything only according to my wish. So here after you do not interfier in my rule. Everything is mine."After that Rano's mother and Jeet's mother have a misunderstanding about Rano.Then Rano's mother goes to Rano and says that to go with her to their own house to which Rano says that 'i cant go' how can i leave Jeet alone.Then Rano's mother forces Rano to go then she pull Rano's arm when she's pulling and pulling she realized that Rano's hand is expanding but she is not comming close she looks back and see that Rano's hand is long as 20 hands . After seeing that Rano's mother has a heart attack and she falls on the ground. Everyone reaches there and is shocked to see Ritu on the floor. They rush her to the hospital. then Shalakha informs Rano that she has to remove Anamika's skeleton from a stream. Rano then goes underwater and puts a knife in Anamika's body. Rano finishes Anamika but herself dies in the process. Meanwhile, Rano's mother wakes up. Jeet finally reaches the place where Rano died and is shocked to see her dead body.

Ek Nayi Shuruwat(A New Begining)

The show takes a twist as Rano is now a ghost. Jeet leaves boxing and starts working in his father's company. The story then focuses on the life of Chhavi Gupta who can see and hear Rano. She becomes Jeet's Secretary . As Per the article ChavviShivani Surve will soon fall in love with Jeet Mudit Nayar . Anamika returns as a human and her name is now Anamika Malhotra. There is a sequence of episodes showing Chhavi and Jeet growing closer to each other and Anamika and Jeet growing closer to each other too.A new Love traingle is set to begin.For more updates,Keep watching Anamika on sonytv from monday-friday at 8:00pm.
