Newbie at work--please advise

I became interested in Paul Peek when my mother-in-law told me that she had kept house for his family. I had thought that the two Frank Jordans had been Secretary of State for 60-odd years without interuption (that's what the younger one had told my 8th-grade class when we toured the State Capital in 1962), but it turned out that they had 'just' won every election for 60 years. Peek had been appointed to fill out the first Jordan's term when he died in office.

I am confident that Peek meets the notability standard, even though few Constitutional Officers have pages other than governors. Assembly Speakers are sometimes the most powerful politician in California--I think that they would almost always meet the test.

This is my first page. Please let me know if there was a better way to distinguish this page from Paul Peek, the rockabilly musician. If you can offer advice or handle it yourself, feel free.

I'm not at all sure that I linked in all of the appropriate places--I think that I need to read the new member info again. I also plan to learn more about the ref tags, since it looks like I ought to be able to combine multiple references. Again, advice is welcome.

I have a photo from a state website that seems to meet the fair use standards, so I'll get that up next. And one of the politician infoboxes.

There are references online to some kind of political issue about a dictaphone when Peek was Speaker--I may have to go to the library to figure that out before I add it.
