This article links to a Tumblr site (currently footnote 5 pointing to http://noteasybeingred.tumblr.com/post/16646893808/on-seeing-a-sex-surrogate-mark-obrian) instead of the original publisher's site. I work for The Sun (the original publisher) and want to avoid even the appearance of conflict of interest, so I don't think I should edit the article myself. The essay can be found here: http://www.thesunmagazine.org/issues/174/on_seeing_a_sex_surrogate. The Tumblr link is riddled with typos and at least one factual error. I begun wondering since so little could be found about this film. Went to imdb.com, and there is banner on this film's page:
"Coming Soon"
"In theaters November 8."

The R rating

I know the R rating is for nudity and strong sexual content, but maybe someone can add a paragraph to the article clarifying why the movie has an R rating? My point being: the lead actress is Helen Hunt! Helen Hunt has never been known for any movies of an erotic nature! She is not known for any prior roles in which she displayed nudity or sexual situations. Does this move re-invent herself as an actress? Do we see Helen Hunt nude, and talking dirty? ...as a heterosexual male, Ive never looked upon her as an actress emitting any strong sexuality. She's not overly curvy. I was thrown from a horse and had to have a laminectomy.. I was about ready in the hospital between the chicken ala king food and my blabbermouth room mate to hang myself with the bed sheet...Then he pops in this beautiful movie...Helen Hunt made those two hours when the vicodin was wearing off livable! I say this is the movie part Miss Hunt was born to play....I liked how her accent kept changing during the course of the movie...from mid western to Boston nasal....it was almost as if she were two actresses! I disagree with Marc S. Helen hunt is pure sex on a stick
