During Stensrud's tenure in the House, his only significant addition to the legislation, which was passed on April 19, 2012 (SF1964/HF2263/CH182) was to provide for safety attachments for window cleaners on windows 4 stories and above. This was legislation directed specifically towards his own business (see above).

Kirk D. Stensrud (born March 1962) is a Minnesota politician and a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives who represents District 48A, which includes portions of western Hennepin County in the Twin Cities metropolitan area. A Republican, he is the owner of Fish Window Cleaning in Edina, and a former medical salesperson.[1][2]

Stensrud was first elected to the House in 2010, unseating incumbent Rep. Maria Ruud by 107 votes. He served on the Commerce and Regulatory Reform, the Jobs and Economic Development Finance, and the State Government Finance committees.[3]
