Jimi's Martin

Reference For Guitar Tuning?

Can anyone provide an accurate reference for the tuning used on the studio version please? I've seen tablature for versions in open F (CFCFAF) and open D capoed at 3rd fret, and claims made for F5 (CFCFCF) (which I personally think sounds closest). I also remember seeing an interview with Page, claiming he used open F (CFCFAF, although according to the transcription of the interview, Page apparently had to think hard to remember. Sorry I can't find a reference for said interview.
