-Despite the userbox on the right saying that I'm interested in 'political science', I'm of the school which holds that the word 'science' in 'political science' implies a [[positivism|positivist]] epistemology which can't really be applied to social studies. Unfortunately there's not a userbox that says this (that I know of: [[User talk: Nasica|tell me]] if there is), and I'm neither pithy enough nor userbox-y enough to do one myself.

-Nasica as in Scipio Nasica, as in [[Publius Cornelius Scipio Nasica Serapio]], as in the guy who killed [[Tiberius Gracchus]], yes. My username is not a tribute to him - his actions were a crime, even if we believe [[Appian]] (''B Civ.'' 1.15) when he says that Tiberius began the actual fighting, which I tend to doubt anyway. I just like the sound of the name.
