Rangiora

I think you must be mistaken; I have not ever edited this page... However, having read the original edit and the subsequent reversal, I can truthfully say that I always believed that Ashburton is the Bogan Capital of Canterbury. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 210.55.212.60 (talk) 11:35, 13 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Mickey Cohen

It was not a mistake. I also want to add a photo how can I do that? My name is Mickey Cohen By the way. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 23.240.0.171 (talk) 21:38, 28 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You need an account in order to upload images, go to Special:UserLogin to do that. As for your article, I'd recommend you read Wikipedia:NPOV, Wikipedia:COI, Wikipedia:Autobiographies and also to remember that you can't just write an article on anybody that hasn't done anything truly significant. I'd also like to point out the article that existed was about an entirely different person and that even if you merit an article you should not wipe another article to have one. ~Frosty (Talk page) I am from here I think 21:49, 28 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Re: David Ogden Steirs

Actually, you are wrong. The discussion section of his article has an entire debate on the subject of his declared homosexuality in a weblog over four years ago that was further picked up by major news sources and hasn't been retracted since and with no apparent ongoing litigation by the actor to that end. Yet, not even a mention of it in his article, even with qualifying language as to it having at least been reported in major new sites, which was part of the discussion as a credible way to broach the matter without having a definitive confirmation from the actor. This smacks more of censorship and suppression than impartiality, perhaps because certain persons here wish to "protect" the actor's reputation based on some affinity they have for his characters. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.83.124.242 (talk) 03:35, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You need, when adding potentially controversial information, to cite and reference your additions. This is very important when dealing with living persons. Simply adding "he came out of the closet" without a reference, source or anything to back you up will most likely result in it being removed again. ~Frosty (Talk page) I am from here I think 03:45, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Signature

I'm sorry to be the bearer of unfortunate news, but your signature does not comply with policy. It is too long, almost twice as long as it should be (the limit being 255 characters of code) and it must not contain images as this places unnecessary load on the servers (and can cause subtle vandalism to be automatically be transcluded onto hundreds of talk pages). Please remedy your signature before continuing to edit, thanks. Nick (talk) 11:59, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Maronites

I removed that part because it is not in any way objective these people represent themselves and not the Maronite community — Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.135.249.36 (talk) 23:55, 5 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ok. In future, use an edit summary to explain section removal, it makes it easier for recent changes patrollers if such edits are justified/explained. ~Frosty (Talk page) 00:12, 6 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I believe that the part should be removed because it does not represent even a small portion of the Maronite community. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.135.249.36 (talk) 00:18, 6 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please see the description of the "possibly living people" category: "Persons of advanced age (over 90) for whom no documentation has existed for a decade or longer can be placed in Category:Possibly living people". Since no reliable sources document her living status since the 1980s (the comment concerning her current residence is uncited, hence my tagging it), "possibly living people" is the correct category for her. Please be more careful in the future when using automated tools to edit. Thank you. 70.179.5.27 (talk) 08:05, 6 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hong Kong kids

Hi Frosty,
I see that you PRODed Hong Kong kids. An IP editor re-directed it to a HK demographics page rather quickly. (edit: ~ 5 hours after PROD) There is now a 'new' Hongkong kids page. I thought it may have been a repost of a deleted page, but apparently not.

Not sure how to proceed here, just FYI. 220 of Borg 08:13, 10 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I will again tag it for PROD, like with the other article. I don't think an entry as heavily bias as this one has a place on wikipedia. ~Frosty (Talk page) 21:26, 10 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
As you wish. On a cursory look, I think that most of it could be applied to 'kids', anywhere! Hence, not particularly notable. --220 of Borg 14:53, 11 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Scotch

...is lovely. I agree. -— Isarra 01:01, 1 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I want more. ~Frosty (Talk page) 10:01, 5 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Islamic Schools and Branches

It is wrong to mix Ahmedis and Black Muslims headings in the page " Islamic Schools and Branches" as they are not the Muslims. All the Muslim Scholars accept them as non-believers. So please make them separate headings. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 111.68.98.169 (talk) 07:47, 5 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I don't pretend to be any kind of expert on this topic, but if you think something needs to be edited out you are free to do so, but it would help a lot if you explained your edits with an edit summary so it isn't mistaken for page blanking by me or anyone else. ~Frosty (Talk page) 10:00, 5 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
