Opening heading
This page seems like it was written by his publicist
"Millz"?
Why does it say Meek Millz? His name is Meek Mill —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.171.74.142 (talk) 19:09, 14 May 2011 (UTC)
And he even said on Sucker Free he refers to be called Meek Millio. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.144.89.48 (talk) 06:47, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
Page name
Why is the page name "Meek Mill (rapper)" when there is no other Meek Mill? Any need for the clarification on something that was already clear? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.97.92.193 (talk) 18:57, 23 June 2011 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: page moved. Vegaswikian (talk) 03:12, 12 November 2011 (UTC)
Meek Mill (rapper) → Meek Mill – Prior moves to the Meek Mill page (or prior creations of a Meek Mill page) were deleted, mainly due to a lack of notability. However, these deletions (and the page being subsequently protected from creation) all transpired more than a year ago. Since then, Meek Mill has gained national (US) notability as a rapper. His radio singles (two Top 25 US rap chart singles, including "Tupac Back") and involvement in a #1 US rap album, Self Made Vol. 1, are also noted within the current Meek Mill (rapper) article. Riphamilton (talk) 06:26, 5 November 2011 (UTC)
- Support. Unnecessary disambiguation. Jenks24 (talk) 07:27, 5 November 2011 (UTC)
- Support. He just signed to do an LP of his own, so he's certainly notable now. The notability issue isn't a reason to add unnecessary disambiguation anyway. Kauffner (talk) 10:03, 5 November 2011 (UTC)

Notable
I see no indication that Mill is notable. My prod was removed with the explanation "doesn't clearly fail WP:MUSIC, has works that have been ranked on national charts". Hmm. I don't see that. I see that songs he is in have been ranked. WP:MUSIC calls for "Has had a single or album on any country's national music chart." Clearly this doesn't make, for example, a session musician notable. Mill is not"the subject of multiple, non-trivial, published works", he does not have "a record certified gold or higher in at least one country" or "non-trivial coverage ...of an international concert tour", he has not "released two or more albums on a major label", he is not "one of the most prominent representatives of a notable style", he has not "won or been nominated for a major music award", "won or placed in a major music competition", "performed music for a work of media that is notable", "been placed in rotation nationally by any major radio or music television network" or "been a featured subject of a substantial broadcast segment across a national radio or TV network". Instead, we have one source: an online magazine, whose coverage of him was substantially exaggerated in the article.
I'll let this ride for a few days, hoping for some indication of notability. Then it's off to AfD. - SummerPhD (talk) 04:28, 17 December 2011 (UTC)
The charting singles that he was on were released under his name, so it's not really comparable to a session musician. I'm not really sure if a review in Pitchfork counts as a '"'non-trivial, published work," but they reviewed his mixtape here: http://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/15977-dreamchasers/ 71.224.209.86 (talk) 01:47, 21 December 2011 (UTC)
Meek Mill is certainly Notable now, this should not even be a question. He has released his first studio album entitled "Dreams and Nightmares" that peaked at number 2 on the billboard top 200 albums for weeks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.86.162.35 (talk) 21:37, 20 March 2013 (UTC)
Mixtapes
In the mixtape section of the article, all of his mixtapes as an unsigned artist is not posted. He had several mixtapes from 2006 up to Dreamchasers. Someone add them, please. Dhabullmike (talk) 10:40, 25 May 2012 (UTC)
Meek has also signed more artists not listed under Dream Chasers Records. Meek, as CEO, has signed names like Guordan — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.86.162.35 (talk) 21:49, 20 March 2013 (UTC)
Lil Snupe?
Does anyone know if Lil Snupe is officially signed to Dream Chasers Records or not? If so he needs to be added to the Dream Chasers Records Current artists list. HipHopDoc (talk) 10:20, 4 April 2013 (UTC)
- Well have you found a reliable source that says he is on the record label? STATic message me! 16:07, 4 April 2013 (UTC)
- Nahright, RealTalkNY, and 2dopeboyz all referred to him as "Meek Mill's artist". There's also several video clips of him and Meek together on YouTube. In one particular clip they're recording in the studio when Lil Snupe boasts about his Dream Chasers connection. That footage can be seen here @ the 1:50 mark. HipHopDoc (talk) 20:05, 4 April 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah it seems he is signed to the label as I found this HipHopSince1987, HipHopDX. So I am going to go ahead and add him. STATic message me! 22:53, 4 April 2013 (UTC)
