:the claim was accurate in 2007 when the source was published but has subsequently become dramatically inaccurate with respect to the US which has had enormous increases in oil production in every year since 2008. The comment may only need to be qualified as being an observation made in 2007.[[User:Driftwoodzebulin|Zebulin]] ([[User talk:Driftwoodzebulin|talk]]) 16:14, 23 July 2014 (UTC)

Question

Highly sophisticated energy sector?

At the beginning of the first paragraph under Status, it's mentioned that Canada has a highly sophisticated energy sector. Either more details should be supplied, or the phrase should be removed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ahmediq152 (talkcontribs) 17:18, 29 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hasn't the shale oil boom in the US lead to an increase in US oil production? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.26.149.164 (talk) 16:55, 5 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

the claim was accurate in 2007 when the source was published but has subsequently become dramatically inaccurate with respect to the US which has had enormous increases in oil production in every year since 2008. The comment may only need to be qualified as being an observation made in 2007.Zebulin (talk) 16:14, 23 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
