::Fox2k11 You seem to edit about 1-5 days out of every month, are you going to be able to actively maintain pending changes areas? Also why do you not warn vandals when using automated tools such as Huggle? This is a core part of preventing vandalism and eventually getting appropriate blocks and that is why I ask. -- DQ (ʞlɐʇ) 02:15, 10 August 2014 (UTC)

::: DeltaQuad Yes I can Patrol pending changes areas on a daily basis! about your huggle question I tend to give a vandal a chance to recollect oneself only on major /severe vandalism.. PA.. (fast) repeated Vandalism etc I issue a warning on light vandalism I tend to just revert it might sound silly but it worked fine so far ;) --Fox2k11 (talk) 02:30, 10 August 2014 (UTC)

:::: DeltaQuad Amendment let me put it this way Vandalism is out of the question but not every edit is vandalism but rather unconstructive that is commonly worth a warning on first sight a revert is often plenty (if not repeated) --Fox2k11 (talk) 22:16, 10 August 2014 (UTC)

I have spent a lot of time at new page patrol recently and enjoy fighting vandals. NickGibson3900 - Talk - Sign my Guestbook 01:06, 10 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@NickGibson3900: While I understand you know most relevant policies, you say you enjoy fighting vandals. I see mostly speedy deletion nominations in your last 500 edits. None of those are G3 - Vandalism. I don't see much vandal reverting either. How do you think you have demonstrated knowing the difference between vandalism and a good faith edit? (I'm more posing the question to get your take, so I know your know what your doing) Any other admin that sees an acceptable response can go ahead and add reviewer. My gut feeling is that this guy is good for the job, I just want to make sure were handing out the tool right. -- DQ (ʞlɐʇ) 02:15, 10 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I'm normally fighting vandals via huggle and also patrolling frequent changes I'm familiar with the basic rules and know what is vandalism and what is not! Fox2k11 (talk) 01:38, 10 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I am familiar with relevant Wikipedia's policies and try to keep myself updated with any new changes. Lately,I have been spending more and more time on Wikipedia. I would want to be able to accept/reject pending edits and help with clearing the pending changes backlog. Here, i would also like to apply for Rollback rights. I have been reverting vandalism and need rollback permission to use tools like Huggle. 7Sidz (talk) 13:55, 10 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Not done. You say you have been reverting vandalism, yet I see no evidence you have ever warned a vandal on their talk page or filed a report at WP:AIV. Based on that I can only conclude that you either haven't really been doing much, if any, reverting of actual vandalism or if you are you are doing it wrong. If you get some experience reverting actual vandalism, along with warning vandals and reporting repeat vandals at AIV you will have a much better chance of getting such a request granted. @Beeblebrox: Even though i have been reverting vandalism, I do agree to the fact that I have not been warning vandals, I will make sure i do it this time. Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 7Sidz (talkcontribs) 17:10, 10 August 2014‎
