Use the force!
I believe in WP:NPOV. User:TParis recently said of me "Obi wan consistently works toward productive results and at times has to drag other editors by the collar to get there. When I see editors arguing with Obi on any topic, my first concern is "What POV are they pushing that he is trying to balance neutrally?""
Category-Gate
A few recent things I've done/worked on during Category-Gate:
User:Magnus Manske has developed a super-fast category intersection, and a javascript that will bring it into a wikipedia page. If you want to try it out, add the following line to your common.js page:
importScript('User:Obiwankenobi/intercat.js');
Then restart your browser, and visit Category:Wikipedia_categorization_intersect_test_2. You can click on the intersects up top, and it will display all articles that meet the criteria (e.g. American novelists who are LGBT and African American or whatever). This is still very early prototype stage, but please share your feedback.
Editors have been kind enough to give me some awards, which are displayed below.
The Barnstar of Diplomacy
Despite your work being stomped on, hijacked, and mutilated, you spent nearly a month engineering a bi-partisan move discussion. The success of this discussion will be weighed in it's excellent structure, research, and organization. You, and the editors you encouraged to work with you, should be commended for this effort. That it was stolen mere hours or days before it could be properly implemented doesn't reflect at all on your effort. Keep up the great work.v/r - TP 23:56, 30 September 2013 (UTC)
For your work on getting people's opinions and putting them into proposals on Wikipedia talk:Article titles, it takes time to do this and helps the community on this heated issue. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 02:25, 6 September 2013 (UTC)
The Barnstar of Diplomacy
For helping to resolve the JPL proposed ban conflict Asarelah (talk) 21:25, 15 May 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for taking the time to do the research on something that was unfamiliar to you rather than merely reading what was already there and judging based on that! I wish more people were willing to do such extensive research about such a topic! PantherLeapord (talk) 03:27, 22 June 2013 (UTC)
Editor of the Week
Your ongoing efforts to improve the encyclopedia have not gone unnoticed: You have been selected as Editor of the Week, for tireless contributions to tedious tasks. Thank you for the great contributions! (courtesy of the Wikipedia Editor Retention Project)
The Hard Worker's Barnstar
