It is located very near to the city of Guwahati, Assam in Kamrup Metropolitan district.
Location
National Highway 40 links Jorabat to Jowai via Shillong. National Highway 37 passes through Jorabat and connects upper Assam with Guwahati city. Jorabat is divided into two parts one is in Meghalaya and another is in Assam.
