The SR-32 stretches 11 miles from the Tennessee-Kentucky state line in the town of Cumberland Gap to North Carolina. At its start, it is unsigned and overlaid by US 25E at the Cumberland Gap Tunnel. As these joined routes head south, they intersect with US 58. The routes enter Harrogate city limits, intersect and have a brief concurrency with SR-63. They then head south to Tazewell where the routes intersect with SR-33 and have an unsigned wrong-way concurrency where northbound SR-33 follows southbound SR-32 and US 25E. A few miles from the Claiborne County line, SR-33 leaves SR-32 and US 25E. They then crossover the Clinch River into Grainger County and intersect with Mountain Valley Highway 131 in Thorn Hill. After this they climb the crest of Clinch Mountain, and at the bottom of the mountain, enter Bean Station city limits. Immediately after entering the city, the routes turn east-west and intersect with and have a concurrency with US 11W within Bean Station city limits. They then head south toward Morristown, crossing over the Holston River and Cherokee Lake into Morristown city limits. The routes interchange with SR-343 and continue south to have interchanges with US 11E north and south respectively to form a brief concurrency, they then pass a retail area and Walters State Community College. Following that, the routes interchange with SR-160 and junction with SR-343 and SR-113 and form a concurrency with SR-113 south of Morristown, US 25E, SR-32 and SR-113. The routes then enter White Pine city limits and intersect with Interstate 81. The routes then enter Jefferson County and SR-113 turns southwest toward downtown White Pine and US 25E and SR-32 head south. South of White Pine, the routes junction with SR-341 and cross over Douglas Lake and the French Broad River into Cocke County, Tennessee and continue south to enter Newport city limits and junction with US 25, US 25W and US 70. US 25E ends at this intersection and SR-32 becomes signed and continues east along US 25 and US 70 to then turn south again onto US 321 south. US 321 and SR-32 then run through a heavily congested retail area and junction with Interstate 40. The routes then leave Newport and junction and begin a concurrency with SR-73. The three routes make a turn west and then back south toward Cosby and in Cosby they junction with SR-339 and the Foothills Parkway just a few hundred feet from each other than US 321 and SR-73 turn west and SR-32 heads south into the Cherokee National Forest and just north of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park to end 11 miles south of where US 321 and SR-73 leave SR-32 at the Tennessee-North Carolina state line.

Route description

Working UltraSonjatalk 15:54, 19 March 2015 (UTC) The SR-32 stretches 11 miles from the Tennessee-Kentucky state line in the town of Cumberland Gap to North Carolina. After this, they climb the crest of Clinch Mountain, and at the bottom of the mountain, enter Bean Station city limits. Immediately after entering the city, the routes turn east-west and intersect with and have a concurrency with US 11W within Bean Station city limits. They then head south toward Morristown, crossing over the Holston River and Cherokee Lake into Morristown city limits. The routes interchange with SR-343 and continue south to have interchanges with US 11E north and south respectively to form a brief concurrency. They then pass a retail area and Walters State Community College.
