Polish Captain section was irrelevant and outdated (changing captaincy of to Michał Żewłakow from Maciej Żurawski) as Żewłakow is retired from international soccer and Lewandowski is the current captain.

Maciej Zurawski is no longer captain of Poland. sorry about the strange editnote

I thought that the phrase on my clipboard was June 09 FIFA rankings update, and I followed CTRL-V by enter too quickly to notice! Kevin McE (talk) 14:22, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Error

There is a small error in the first paragraph, Poland have never won at Wembley or even in England.

wrong medals

In Poland national football team#Achievements, there are wrong medals for the World Cup bronzes. They are rightly coloured bronze, but they have the Olympic rings in the medal. World Cup has nothing to do with the Olympics, so there should be different bronze medals used. Thanksin advance. 82.141.64.25 (talk) 07:07, 10 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Notable Players

In the instance of a player's national team career spanning two decades, shouldn't the categorization of a player by decade be determined by the number of caps / goals (i.e., strikers) in which the majority is attained rather than the date of their first cap, which is most likely non-representative? For the majority of cases, this is straightforward [e.g., Grzegorz Lato (1970s), Kazimierz Deyna (1970s), Michał Żewłakow (2000s), etc]. Nevertheless, there are a few exceptions [notably Boniek - 1970s (39/12) & 1980s (41/12)]. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.16.139.64 (talk) 19:31, 5 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
