Cologno al Serio is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 45 kilometres (28 mi) northeast of Milan and about 10 kilometres (6 mi) south of Bergamo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 10,008 and an area of 17.5 square kilometres (6.8 sq mi).[3]
