Karrueche T. Tran was born May 17, 1988 in Los Angeles, CA.[2] Her mother, Cindy Adamson is Vietnamese and her father, DeVon Minters is Jamaican. Tran first attended high school at Fairfax High School before her family moved to the Valley. Tran graduated from Birmingham High School in 2006.[3] From 2006-2008 Tran attended Pierce College where she majored in Graphic Design.
Career
Karrueche Tran began her career in the fashion industry as a personal shopper. From 2009-2012 she worked at Nordstrom located at the Westfield Topanga mall in Canoga Park, CA. After her career in retail, Tran worked as free-lance celebrity stylist in Hollywood. She first gained notoriety when she began dating former boyfriend, R&B artist Chris Brown.[4] Tran landed her first major modeling job in 2013.
