The following consists of original research and therefore cannot be included in the article. However it is important information that the public should be aware of. This site is no longer 20 feet tall. I visited this site a few days ago. It is now about 12 feet tall. It has been cannibalized by park employees to use as fill dirt for various construction projects in the park. There is only one mound left and it has been built upon by park employees to accommodate tourists. The location is not restricted. When you enter Philippe Park there are signs giving you directions to the mound. The location is: 28.009015, -82.677473. I only provide the coordinates because there is virtually nothing left to protect thanks to park employees. Go ahead and see for yourself.
