I'm wondering if it's still up for patent protection, or at least is available from most pharmacy wholesellers. I contacted six pharmacies, and none of them are even able to order Cesamet. I'm sending off my prescription to CVS/caremark mail order prescription program. Let's see if he can get it filled there. Why was there a need to make a synthetic version of something that already exists? An attempt to bypass "drug" laws that prohibit the real thing or an attempt to patent and monopolize the patented version using those laws?
