Relation to Alice and John Coltrane?
Untitled
Is he the great-nephew of Alice Coltrane of John Coltrane? It is unlikely he is the great-nephew of both - one of them must be the sibling of one of his grandparents, the other is the spouse of his great-aunt/great-uncle. If both of them are indeed siblings of different grandparents this should be clarified. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.202.43.53 (talk) 04:37, 7 January 2011 (UTC)
- The source, (which doesn't look reliable at all), does not match the article. It says Flylo is the nephew, not great-nephew, of Alice Coltrane. So that at least needs to be corrected. I've been looking into this out of curiosity, and all reports say he is related to the Coltranes through Alice's relative Marilyn McLeod. But there are conflicting reports on how Alice and Marilyn are related to each other, and to Flylo. Some say that Alice and Marilyn are sisters, others say Marilyn is Alice's aunt. Some also say Marilyn is Flylo's mother. This is a case of lazy journalism.
- Alice Coltrane, nee McLeod, is indeed Marilyn McLeod's sister, Twin Records. From searching around I've found three sources, (All Music, LA Weekly and Prefix Magazine), which say Alice Coltrane is his great-aunt, and her sister Marilyn McLeod, is his grandmother. This is what we should go with. We should also list LA Weekly as the source because it goes further and states that his mother, Tammy, is Marilyn's daughter. InHaze (talk) 00:53, 13 March 2011 (UTC)
Wording
Referring to Flying Lotus as a "genius" and claiming that fans refer to him as "Jesus" cause neutrality issues in the article. Please fix this. -jr —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.20.171.21 (talk) 12:42, 19 March 2010 (UTC)
Genre?
RoyimDB (talk) Flying Lotus isn't Post-Genre Music Just because a genre doesn't have a defintive name doesn't mean it's post genre. —Preceding undated comment added 11:24, 20 March 2010 (UTC).

Is Flying Lotus really 92? C'mon, guys... let's get on that. --A —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.2.212.247 (talk) 00:32, 23 March 2010 (UTC)
Possible wrong infobox?
Because he is primarily a DJ I think perhaps a different infobox is more appropriate. Anyone agree? If so, please, be bold. Thanks. --Leahtwosaints (talk) 22:44, 24 March 2012 (UTC)
