:You can certainly insert something about Nettleton if you have a source to cite (should be some out there)... I'd speculate he wasn't included due to lack of notability - I mean, you sort of expect law enforcement to catch the bad guys, even if there is a long manhunt and associated media attention. Also I'd suspect Dallas's notoreity is somewhat apocryphal for non-Idahoans, ie its more related to his escape from prison, not his original capture. There were quite a few involved in the capture. It wasn't just one person. There was even a helicopter dropping a SWAT team.

Why no mention of Sheriff Tim Nettleton, he is the one who caught Dallas the first time he was on the run? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.8.85.54 (talk) 20:50, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Paradise Junction

I've never heard of Paradise Junction, and I couldn't find it on Google maps or two atlases I looked in. There was a report some time ago that he was suspected of being in the vicinity of the common point between Idaho, Oregon, and Nevada, and there is a small town near there known as Paradise Valley. I'm a little hesitant to just change it to Paradise Valley with no references, but Paradise Junction is either wrong or hopelessly obscure. As an aside, except for the USFS office there, Paradise Valley seems like the kind of place you might find Claude Dallas, if you found him in a town at all. OK, It's been a month, I've done some more looking and not found a Paradise Junction, but people around here say he was in the ION region, near Paradise Valley. So I'm changing the entry, even though I don't have a real reference. Feel free to change it back, but please tell us where Paradise Junction is. Paradise Junction does Exist. It is the exit off the highway to go to Paradise Valley Nevada. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.39.176.4 (talk) 20:29, 6 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This is the bar he hung out at and went to for help after the murders:

Conely Elms was armed.

Elms was armed with a weapon in his shoulder holster, several officers on the record state was known to wear it under his sweater, Claude Dallas also testified under oath that he saw the holster under his coat when he reached for his badge on the rim of the canyon. This is also recorded in the Book "Outlaw the True Story of Cluade Dallas " Authored by Jeff Long

I would also like to add that if Elms wasn't armed then he would have been charged with murder not with Manslaughter. — Preceding unsigned comment added by WildIdaho (talkcontribs) 04:18, 17 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Stevens

Stevens certainly did witness the entire shooting. Somebody edited this article to say he didn't but that is false. Check testimony in Olsen's book or Google's newspaper archives. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.31.52.185 (talk) 18:59, 16 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
