As with the rest of the series, the music within covers their unreleased 90's experiments and songs that never made it to the albums released at the time. This particular volume includes unreleased material from the initial ''"[[The Isness|Isness]]"'' sessions, initially previewed during their 1997 Peel Session, Mixing It and Fun Radio shows, albeit renamed. Following the popularity of the segued pieces on volume 4, the record contains few gaps between songs lending it a more complete, album-like feel.<ref>{{cite web|url=http://www.secondthought.co.uk/fsol/ |title=The Future Sound of London - Welcome to the Galaxial Pharmaceutical v7 |publisher=Secondthought.co.uk |date= |accessdate=2012-02-16}}</ref> |
