Engineering is one of the most popular majors among universities in Taiwan. The high level engineering degrees account for over a quarter of the bachelor's degrees that are awarded in Taiwan. Because the innovation and development of high-technology as well as industrial technology and manufacturing are the primary industries in Taiwan, there are many career opportunities for engineering majors in the country.[1]
