I have changed his birthplace to Halifax. The reference is a Youtube video of an interview with Sheeran, where he explicitly states that he was born in Halifax and then moved to Hebden Bridge later. Ed Sheeran was born in Halifax, not Hebden Bridge.

Newspapers have been repeating the incorrect assertion that he was born in Hebden Bridge. Just because it's in a reputable newspaper doesn't make it a reliable source.

Of the two current sources in the article itself, only one explicitly states he was born in Hebden Bridge. The other one, The Hebden Bridge Times, only states that he was raised there. Furthermore, as the comment above and I previously mentioned, there is a video of Ed explicitly correcting an interviewer who says he was born in Hebden Bridge. How this is not counted as reputable when it's filmed coming from the subject's own mouth is beyond me. I have updated the article using the source provided above.
