Vandalism of Ural Owl Page

This article here that was vandalized under this home IP address was confirmed to be committed by my younger sibling, aged 10, as a "joke" during her Owl research project for school. Wasn't hard--please note that Cristy Lane is in fact from Peoria, it seems, so the IP's edits were an improvement. If you look at what they broke, it seems highly likely that all of that coding was by accident, and easy to fix for you or me, who know a bit about Wikipedia. Agriculture in the People's Republic of China

I'm curious as to why you undid the merge that was performed back in 2009? The only change you made was to undo the years-old re-direct, with no information in the edit summary or talk page of either page. Why do you feel we need duplicative content? And if you feel these two articles cover or should cover separate topics, do you intend to edit the pages accordingly? ~ ONUnicorn^{(Talk|Contribs)}problem solving 16:47, 3 April 2017 (UTC)

I second ONUnicorn's view. I've had a look at the existing Agriculture in China page and the content/balance looks fine; the 2009 merge was properly discussed with a consensus obtained that was then acted upon. I know the person doing to the redirect was not registered, which looks suspicious, but can see no evidence that they did the wrong thing. Therefore, I suggest that the redirect should be replaced, unless other arguments emerge. Klbrain (talk) 16:53, 3 April 2017 (UTC)

I changed the number of National Championships of North Carolina from six to seven. Can you explain to me why you think this is vandalism? You said it was a not a "constructive" edit. Do you not believe the results of the game?

@BulbAtop: No wonder you speak multiple languages - many to most people outside the U.S. are like that. I live near Phoenix, Arizona and do not see many people speak Spanish despite being only a two hour drive to the Mexico border. And my school offers Spanish as the only foreign language to take. @Dane and BulbAtop: It could be argued that they were simply testing to see if the other was a sockpuppet or bot and thereby "providing a foundation for effective collaboration". I'm edit stalking BulbAtop to try to make sure they don't get banned. I do agree that they should attempt to keep such communications to off site though, don't want them to bog down the servers (harms). They might need guidance here and there as they both appear to be younger users. Might be constructive for your next RfA if you mentor them or something, if they/you want that.
