'Čojstvo i Junaštvo' or 'Honour and Valor' is an old medieval chivalry code of the Serbian knights, that became a moral maxim of the Serbs till today, perserved in the [[Serb Clans]] of Montenegro. The blood feud or 'krvna osveta', is an archaic legal system applied there, where there was no law enforcement. Since Montenegro are the highlands (Montenegro - Crna Gora - Black Mountains), there was no law enforcement up until the unification through [[Rade Petrovic Njegos]] Prince-Bishop of Montenegro who introduced the [[perjanici]] in order to enforce law in the 19th century. In some backward areas that are isolated from the society this still may be the case, however not a general rule, and surely not in any ways tied to the chivalric code of 'Čojstvo i Junaštvo' which states: "Be capable to defend yourself from others, Be capable to defend others from yourself", having nothing criminal nor in any way tied to the blood feud in its meaning. Since it is forbidden by the code to enforce upon weaker than yourself, I doubt any criminal would follow the code by heart. Why do you use Albanian drug dealers names and Albanian villages to present Montenegro ? And, comment above, on "blood feud" is a typical Albanian problem that doesn's exist in Slavonic (=Montenegrian / Serbian) culture ! There was no drug in Yugoslavia until USA/EU /Vatica "liberated" Albanians ! |
