Headquartered in Mumbai, India, Cleartrip Pvt. Ltd. is an Indian online travel company providing online booking services for flights and train tickets, hotel reservations, and domestic and international holiday packages in India and the Persian Gulf region.

Cleartrip was founded by Mathhew Spacie, Hrush Bhatt & Stuart Crighton in 2006. In May 2010, Cleartrip launched its first overseas venture in the UAE.[1] In May 2012, it started services to the Persian Gulf nations of Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia.[2]

Along with the web portal, Cleartrip also operates Cleartrip for Business,[3] an online corporate travel management tool; Agent Box,[4] a travel tool for travel agents; and Cleartrip Mobile,[5] a travel booking app for mobile devices.

  • Weekend getaways,[12] which lets users search for getaways from the city of origin based on drive time or destination; and select a hotel and make a room reservation
