Winnetonka High School is a high school in the North Kansas City School District.

The school is located at 5815 NE 48 Street in Kansas City North, Missouri. Winnetonka opened in 1971. Originally built to hold 2,000 students, it now has approximately 1,600. In Fall 2008, some of Winnetonka's students were transferred to the district's new high school, Staley High School, as well as North Kansas City High School due to boundary changes.

Winnetonka High School principal Matt Lindsey was arrested on January 11, 2017 after being accused of raping a then student at a prior job. He is accused of taking part in about 20 sexual encounters with a 16-year-old girl between 1997 and 1998, when he was a basketball coach and deputy principal at Richmond High School.[1]
