Employee
This page was last edited by an employee of the University, possibly in the marketing department. It should probably be re-written by students and past students. Perhaps facebook would be a good place to start recruiting editors. -- 21:20, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
Hmm, this page needs a lot of work. Parts of it are wildly inaccurate - NMMU was most certainly not founded in 1882, for example. I'll give it a shot when I've got some time. Joziboy (talk) 08:21, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
Top SA University
Would someone please clarify the statement "NMMU is a top SA university". Whom has ranked it 8th in Afica and by what measure? One of the few list it appears on is Webometrics ([[1]]), where it is 8th in South Africa and 10th in Africa. Is this the ranking being referred to?.Purple Duke (talk) 15:17, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
New Mascot
NMMU has recently named its mascot(Diba) and our nickname. This should be included in the page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by PJTFernandes (talk • contribs) 11:52, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
Missing Campus
The Saasveld (George) campus has not been included? Wolweseun (talk) 20:44, 21 December 2009 (UTC)
Citation Required
Could someone please cite the following information:
- watersport capital of Africa
- Port Elizabeth is the 5th most populous
- 5th largest city in South Africa

Conflict in rating
aside from being a bit skeptical, the rating at the top of the page is 8th in africa, and the bottom of the page says 9th in africa .. umm what is its rating? Wolweseun (talk) 20:44, 21 December 2009 (UTC)
