Chris is legit only 6'5". I used to referee him in the independents in Indiana/Ohio area. He appears taller due to his large frame/size but he told me back in 2002 he was legit 6'5" even though they billed him then in the indys as 6'9". - Referee Andy B. Blind

Linking to Solie.org title histories

I feel that it is unecessary to link to Solie.org title histories so I removed it. Mr. C.C. 07:23, 5 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Other promotions

In all due respect to the other promotions, I feel that they are not really necessary because Abyss biggest work is in TNA. I will leave up ROH, but if anybody wishes to discuss these, please discuss them here.

Intro

This isn't a major issue but why did we get rid of "The Monster" when saying what he competes as? They always announce him as being "The Monster" Abyss. Mike Tenay and Don West hardly ever refer to him without saying the word Monster. But I guess if you want to leave out Monster it's not really wrong because we don't say that Randy Orton competes as "The Legend Killer" Randy Orton.

Height

There's no way Abyss is just 6'4, he has to be at least 6'6-6'8.

According to TNA, his official website, and Obssesed with Wrestling, Abyss is listed as 6'10". Gerweck.net lists him as 6'4". I don't believe Abyss is as tall as 6'10" or as short as 6'4". Why I do think he could be around 6'6", i think we should just go with the official site and TNA and list him as 6'10" (though I know it is not true). User:FallenKing

He was always labeled as being 6'8" but when TNA re-launched their website in the summer of 2005 they put 6'10" in his profile. And at one point, either David Penzer or Jeremy Borash was calling him 6'9" during his ring introductions.

Ryan "Trytan" Wilson was always labeled as being either 6'10" or 6'11" in TNA, but again they listed him incorrectly on their website, saying that he was 7'2".

I would just say that Chris Parks/Abyss is 6'8".
