The Bobby Goldsmith Foundation is an Australian HIV and AIDS charity based in Sydney, New South Wales. Its objective is to provide practical and financial assistance to people living with HIV, currently operating in New South Wales and Adelaide.[1] It was formed in July 1984 from a trust fund organised after the death of Bobby Goldsmith, who was the first person in New South Wales to have been publicly recognised as having died of AIDS-related illness.[2] It is Australia's oldest HIV/AIDS charity.[3]
