::{{ping|Tilakny}} you misunderstood my message. I was trying to explain to you that while your contributions to Wikipedia are welcome, you still have to follow Wikipedia policies, like using reliable sources (WP:RS) and avoiding edit warring (WP:3RR, WP:EW). I have previously encouraged you to follow core policies like [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk%3ATilakny&type=revision&diff=921994477&oldid=921824550 sourcing material]. I hope you realize that by not following these rules, more blocks and restrictions on your editing privileges will result.[[User:Apollo1203|Apollo1203]] ([[User talk:Apollo1203|talk]]) 21:56, 11 August 2020 (UTC)

Vedanta Page Edits

@Tilakny: Welcome to Wikipedia! I see your first few edits have been on the Vedanta and Akshar Purushottam Darshan pages. To improve your edits on the Vedanta page, I suggest taking the citations that are in the original Akshar Purushottam Darshan page from which you pasted the overview paragraph.

I've made the edits and added some more information, take a look and let me know what you think!Apollo1203 (talk) 06:00, 19 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Power~enwiki. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Hinduism, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. power~enwiki (π, ν) 23:23, 6 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Hinduism. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 04:35, 7 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I did not make any unconstructive edits, I just added more information about major sect of hinduism and even cited my sources so I do not understand this Tilakny (talk) 04:45, 7 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Hinduism, you may be blocked from editing. Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 05:24, 7 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of edit warring noticeboard discussion

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Edit warring at Hinduism

This user with only 38 edits has apparently ignored your message and is continuing to edit war to re-add the rejected content. I would recommend another block unless he agrees not to reinsert the rejected content in question unless he gained consensus for it. Aman Kumar Goel (Talk) 07:08, 10 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I have done citations and have put Relevant things into the article but I am getting banned since others do not like it even though it is cited Tilakny (talk) 07:52, 10 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This is improper and not fair as I have don't proper citations and have not broken any Wikipedia rules, I have cited and have wrote proven information Tilakny (talk) 07:52, 10 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Tilakny. As to your claim to have 'not broken any Wikipedia rules' we have a policy against edit warring. It is good you opened a thread at Talk:Hinduism#Swaminarayan Hinduism, but nobody agrees with you there. If you try to restore your material again at Hinduism you will most likely be blocked again. EdJohnston (talk) 17:16, 10 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I have opened a talk page on my page and Apollo and other editors have agreed with me after I gave evidence to my edits Tilakny (talk) 21:41, 10 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

People appear to be doubting that you can show the importance of the Swaminarayan tradition within Hinduism. Also, they challenged your lack of page numbers to back up your claims. Statements in Wikipedia are supposed to be verifiable from sources. Other editors questioned whether books that covered Hinduism generally would give as much importance to the Swaminarayan tradition as you do. You stated it was one of the five major denominations of Hinduism, replacing a previous sentence which did not list Swaminarayanism as a major denomination. Your claim needs evidence. EdJohnston (talk) 01:04, 11 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I gave evidence of books from renowned writers from Oxford University and for the fact of the fifth major denomination of you look at the organizations in the Swaminarayan denomination they are vastly larger than most organizations such as iskon. I also said that if you do not agree with my fifth major denomation edit I will remove it but I think it's important to put Swaminarayanism into Hinduism history as it is a major part of Hinduism history cheers! Tilakny (talk) 01:14, 11 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

For you to say "..it is a major part of Hinduism history.." does not make it so. You personally are not an authority for Wikipedia purposes. You also say "they are vastly larger". Who has quantified this 'vastly larger'? If a scholarly writer has done so, quote what that person said. It does not matter whether you think or I think they are the fifth major denomination. It matters whether the WP:Reliable sources say that they are. EdJohnston (talk) 01:55, 11 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you go to wikipedia itself or books like swaminarayan hinduism it talks about it being the new revival of hinduism and if you go to wikipedia you can clearly see that baps vadtal ahmedabaed maninagar sects are vastly larger than other sects in india and not in india. I do not think it i used sources and still get reverted, but i guess thats why wikipedia is never a reliable source of knowledge or information

I was trying to add the Swaminarayan sect into the page of hinduism as it is a big aspect of Hinduism, but I keep getting reverted by people for no reason even though I have used citations Tilakny (talk) 17:00, 10 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Apollo was sad to see me get banned for writing and how I have contributed to other articles and I was contributing to this article and yet was not appreciated and instead the article was just reverted Tilakny (talk) 17:01, 10 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the clarification! Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 18:10, 10 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you WP:DISRUPTIVE Wikipedia, as you did at Hinduism. Template:Z189 Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 07:51, 11 August 2020 (UTC) This is prolonged edit-warring. You've been warned several times; yet, you persist. Thank you. Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 07:53, 11 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi I stated On the Wikipedia page that I was changing a few things and edited the article and asked what people thought of the edit but u blatantly reverted it Tilakny (talk) 08:16, 11 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I'll just improve other articles instead of this one and leave this article be Tilakny (talk) 08:24, 11 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Tilakny. Please respond at WP:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring#User:Tilakny reported by User:Joshua Jonathan (Result: ) and explain why you shouldn't be indefinitely blocked from Wikipedia. Nothing seems to be getting through to you. EdJohnston (talk) 15:05, 11 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I haven't done anything in the Hinduism page, and when I reverted the page I asked for improvement and it was improved so I left and went to edit another article Tilakny (talk) 17:16, 11 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Also for vedanta page we decided that akshar Purushottam darshan was a separate vedanta so I revised and undid the edit and put Akshar Purushottam Darshan as a separate vedanta, if u want to check the talk page you can go and check the suddhadavita talk page from the vedanta talk page and see the discussion Tilakny (talk) 17:17, 11 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Swaminarayan Vedanta page

Hi Joshua Johnathan please do not change the vedanta page as it was unanimously decided by the talk page in suddhadavita and was provided reliable sources and events Tilakny (talk) 09:24, 11 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
