Song |
"Ready to Fall" is a single and video by Rise Against, a punk/hardcore band from Chicago, Illinois.
Video Overview
It was made in 2006, and it is about pollution and its effects on the environment. The video is 3 minutes, 52 seconds long, and cuts between shots of the band playing, the lead vocalist, Tim McIlrath, singing, and shots of animals being saved or dying, if not already dead, from oil spills, fishing nets, etc.
The version that is shown on internet sites and on television is actually the edited version of the video. The original version was considered far too graphic and is only available on a few websites. The video is also a testimony to vegetarianism, as Rise Against is very active with PETA, and they are all vegetarians.
Chart Overview
The song has reached #13 on the Billboard Modern Rock charts. It is the highest peak of any Rise Against song next to Swing Life Away.
