You have shown interest in abortion. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. A Barnstar for reverting vandalism of Michael O'Donnell article

The Anti-Vandalism Barnstar
message Zxtxtxz (talk) 11:13, 28 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, so much, for reverting the massive and recurrent anonymous vandalism on the Wikipedia article about Michael O'Donnell (politician).

I put a heck of a lot of hard work, using rigid journalism guidelines and standards, carefully backed by thorough reference citations to supporting/validating articles from the principal local media outlets in O'Donnell's community -- most of which, sadly, document his apparent criminal conduct, conspiracies, corruption, and cover-ups. I suspect this recent Wiki-vandalism is part of that juvenile, blatantly unethical behavior.

It is frustrating and exhausting to have to constantly revisit the article to guard against that vandal. Have precious little time for ANY Wikipedia work, let alone guarding all my edits, so am especially grateful for your conscientious watchdog work. Very respectfully:

Thank you for this! Will definitely be keeping an eye on that page... fortunately it's been obvious enough to find and revert so far. Igarnish (talk) 05:55, 29 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome!

Hi! I am so excited to see that you have continued to actively contribute to Wikipedia over the winter break. I'm thrilled that you are making time to make these very important contributions and that you are being recognized for your efforts. If you are interested in working on anything health-related again just let me know. It would be a really fantastic 4th year project. Mcbrarian (talk) 14:55, 6 January 2021 (UTC)(Denise)[reply]

New to Wikipedia editing - trying to update article on me

Article was inaccurate, mainly because I changed jobs. Someone else created and updated the article in the past. I'm happy to have someone else tone down whatever you see as self promotional. I just want to be accurate, and clearly am a rookie. Thanks for your help. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Steve_Bratt&oldid=prev&diff=1005472890 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Stevebratt (talkcontribs) 21:26, 7 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Stevebratt: Thanks for reaching out. If you can find reliable sources to verify the information you want to add, I'd be happy to add it in for you, though I don't have much experience writing biographies. You can also post on the talk page with an edit request as suggested by Wikipedia guidelines on editing articles about yourself. The reason I reverted your edits is because everything in a biography of a living person needs to be cited and written neutrally—and it can be hard to write neutrally about yourself! I've hyperlinked some policies and guidelines if you want to read further and I also suggest visiting the Teahouse if you have questions. Igarnish (talk) 22:05, 7 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Igarnish: Thanks for your advice. Apologies if I didn't follow it precisely ;-) I suggested updates with references here - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Stevebratt
