Under "Pan-Turkism and Death, 1921-22," reference no. 69 to Peter Hopkirk's "Setting the East Ablaze" is missing a page citation. The page is page 160 in John Murray 2016 paperback edition. I hope this helps. 68.80.16.50 (talk) 12:10, 3 February 2021 (UTC)
- Many thanks - I have the OUP paperback, so have used the publication details for that, the pagination appears to be the same as the John Murray paperback. DuncanHill (talk) 16:24, 3 February 2021 (UTC)
Wrong
Enver Pasha was a member of the Ittıhat and Terakki. And he was a fan of Islamism. (Most people think Enver Pasha embraced the Turkish understanding, but in the poems and letters he wrote, it is understood that Enver Pasha was an Islamist.) However, the young Turks were Ottomanists. That's why Enver Pasha is not Young Turk, but Ittihat and Terakki Note:Internal I wrote from Google translation Türkçizer 37 (talk) 19:06, 7 March 2021 (UTC)
- @Türkçizer 37: Do you have published sources which support the statements? If he was a member of the Ittıhat and Terakki and the statements in the poems, I would like to see them. Thanks WhisperToMe (talk) 01:16, 12 March 2021 (UTC)
Autograph
I found Enver's autograph in this https://archives.saltresearch.org/bitstream/123456789/129156/508/PFSIF9170823A083.jpg WhisperToMe (talk) 01:16, 12 March 2021 (UTC)
Sentence remove request.
'although in January 1915, an Armenian named Hovannes had saved his life during a battle by carrying Enver through battle lines on his back.' Its story of Hitler and a polish soldier who saved him. Its not happened to Enver Pasha but Armenians try to create a new brand of Jewish Holocaust. Remove this sourceless and nonsense part please. Good wikis.
