Smaller desert in South Africa

This page claims the Carcross desert is 640 acres (258.999 hectares). I see here that the Red Desert in South Africa is only 11 hectares (27.18 acres) in size. I think this should be mentioned on the page. - Rooiratel (talk) 07:20, 23 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

There's also the Desert of Maine which is 40 acres, and like the Carcross not a true desert. The statement that it is "often considered" (does that count as "weasel words"?) the smallest desert seems pretty meaningless. --Ericjs (talk) 02:44, 7 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
