DYK for Pyrenean Mountain Dog

On 13 July 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Pyrenean Mountain Dog, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Pyrenean Mountain Dogs were urgently introduced onto French farms in the 1990s to protect flocks from wolves that had arrived from Italy? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Pyrenean Mountain Dog. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Pyrenean Mountain Dog), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Holding area request

Hi Cavalryman, thank you for reviewing Template:Did you know nominations/John Selwyn Moll. Can I ask if you would be able to go onto Template talk:Did you know/Approved and move the article down to a special holding area for the 24 July at the bottom of the page please? The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 05:28, 15 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The C of E, done, my apologies for not doing so earlier. Kind regards, Cavalryman (talk) 10:59, 15 July 2021 (UTC).[reply]

DYK for Buckhound

On 17 July 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Buckhound, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that when Queen Anne became too infirm to follow her pack of Buckhounds (examples pictured) on horseback, she had paths cut through Windsor Forest so she could follow the hunt in a carriage? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Buckhound. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Buckhound), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

SPI case

I believe that the first step - as you have been advised there - is to return the SPI to its original structure. However, you do not want to lose any of this good work, so that might all be copied onto that SPI's Talk page. William Harris (talk) 00:23, 24 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Many thanks for the tip, I think I have returned it to the accepted standard [1], what I would like some guidance on is should I reduce the number of socks that have previously been linked to the individual, some have only several days contributions. Cavalryman (talk) 07:12, 24 July 2021 (UTC).[reply]
I think that would be a good approach as it simplifies things. If your main concern is BH, then I suggest you report on just that editor. Any other editors could be subject of separate SPIs. Keep it simple, so that the admins can activate simple processes with easy application of WP:POL. William Harris (talk) 09:19, 26 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Many thanks, I will look to further cull the list. Cavalryman (talk) 22:50, 27 July 2021 (UTC).[reply]

Warning

Stop stalking me through my edits or I will report to the Administrators. Blockhouse321 (talk) 09:26, 29 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Blockhouse321, I note you have been editing this page for almost 15 years [2]. If your edits appear on one of the recent change lists I watch, and they are as poor as these last, you will be reverted. Cavalryman (talk) 10:51, 29 July 2021 (UTC).[reply]
Hello, you removed the information from the article that was there for years. You performed your deletion immediately after I posted to the article. At Wikipedia we work together to build a better article, why not help me to improve the article. Thank you Blockhouse321 (talk) 16:52, 29 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
If you wish to discuss the article, then the article’s talk page is the appropriate venue. Further, it could be argued that your editing this page is a violation of one of the extant TBANs you are subject to [3]. Cavalryman (talk) 23:12, 29 July 2021 (UTC).[reply]

Rather than reverting the article discuss on the article talk page. This citation supports the information in the article. [4] Blockhouse321 (talk) 14:15, 1 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
