  • Move to Draft:Granada Electronics. My preliminary research suggests that while this is a run-of-the-mill product, the manufacturer, Granada Electronics, is a notable company. Granted, this is probably more for the company's failed effort to import Spanish-made Cabbage Patch dolls to the U.S., which was stopped by a lawsuit from the manufacturer of the U.S.-branded product, but this could still provide a seed for an article on the company. • Note: See Donald S. Chisum, Understanding Intellectual Property Law (1992), p. 510: "[I]n Original Appalachian Artworks, Inc. v. Granada Electronics, Inc., the court upheld a finding of infringement where a defendant imported “Cabbage Patch” dolls that bore a lawful trademark (licensed from plaintiff) but which were manufactured abroad under a license prohibiting their sale in the United States".
