- Comment: What are people using as a basis for WP:GNG being satisfied? I don't think this company is notable, to be honest. PK650 (talk) 22:55, 9 November 2021 (UTC)
- Comment: This version of the draft is a significant improvement over the previous version in terms of tone and neutral point of view. However, it still has grammar issues and now reads like ten individual sentences instead of a single article. The referencing also needs a major cleanup as there is basically no proper formatting. A quick look at the sources reveals that some of them are not suited for a Wikipedia article (e. g. YouTube); please see WP:V and WP:RS for information on which sources are generally considered acceptable for Wikipedia. - Comment: There's a lot of dross among the refbombing, but I agree with Bkissin that there are enough solid ones to meet WP:GNG. I also (on a purely personal note) think this is quite a noteworthy subject. All that said, the article needs thorough cleanup/rewrite before accepting. - Comment:
- The article claims that Arnergy is a "solar company". That wording is very vague – I suppose they are a manufacturer of solar panels and large batteries (secondary cells).*The first sentence claims the company is "international", however, the fourth sentence makes me think that they only operate on the Nigerian market.*The article uses plenty of buzzwords ("mission of the organisation", "energy solutions", "productive use", "deploying products", "services & systems", "special focus", "solutions for problems", etc.)*What exactly is an Arnergy5000? What does it do?*Template:Infobox company is missingBest regards, -- Johannes (Talk) (Contribs) (Articles) 17:16, 3 August 2021 (UTC)
- Comment: @Bkissin, I have not done a source evaluation but yes the COI here is quite overt, for a backstory look at this. I probably would not accept until a proper COI is disclosed. If the organization is actively contracting this work out or COI editors are just scamming the organization I can’t tell. Celestina007 (talk) 17:05, 19 July 2021 (UTC)
- Comment: Seems OK to accept for me. The Quartz, BBC, Guardian (Nigeria) and Government sources meet GNG for me. Celestina007, does it seem like there is any COI editing going on here, or is this good to accept? Bkissin (talk) 15:12, 19 July 2021 (UTC)

Arnergy Solar Limited is a Nigerian solar power company based in Lagos, Nigeria.[1][2] It provides solar energy solutions for small businesses in Nigeria.[3][4]
It was founded in 2013 by Femi Adeyemo who is also the incumbent chief executive officer of the company.[5][6]
Arnergy has installed 3MW of electricity generation and over 9MWh of storage capacity in Nigeria.[7][8]
History
The company was started in 2013 by Femi Adeyemo from his personal savings.[9]
In July 2015, Nigeria’s Bank of Industry invested in the company to provide rural communities with off-grid solar systems.[10] The project was also supported by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).[11] Later, in December 2015, the Solar Nigeria Programme, part of the Department for International Development (DfID), granted a 100,000 Pounds (US$146,000) to expand the operations in Northern Nigeria.[12]
In June 2019, Breakthrough Energy Ventures along with Norfund invested USD 9 million in the company.[13][14][8]
In December 2020, the Federal Government of Nigeria gave $9 million to provide solar energy to 20,000 micro, small and medium businesses in rural communities in the country.[15]
In February 2021, it was recognized by Canada High Commissioner for their energy optimization efforts in Nigeria.[16] In the same year, in March, it received Africa Brand Award for its contribution in development of solar energy in Nigeria.[17]
