Isabel-Clara Simó i Monllor (Alcoy,1943) is a Spanish journalist and writer.

She's considered one of the most important writers in Catalan language. She has been awarded with several prices, such as the Premi Sant Jordi in 1993.

AS a journalist, she has been the director of the Canigó magazine and has worked for the newspaper Avui. She was the delegate of the Culture Departament of the Generalidat de Catalunya.
