The relative age of Christmas Thanksgiving parades

The Macy’s article states it is tied for the second oldest parade in the US with the Philadelphia parade being older by a few years. Mario Balloon

Mario will be in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade as a balloon form to advertising & promoting an Illumination CGI animated Mario movie. The first-ever Nintendo character balloon in the parade history. Few More Left from originally 2016 Comeback Giant Helium Balloons

Since Sonic the Hedgehog (second version) from 2011 and Papa Smurf from 2021 made a grand return to the parade in 2021. Since Disney Cruise Line float was debut in the parade by 2021

Since Disney Cruise Line float was debut in the parade in 2021. Additionally, Sailor Mickey Mouse balloon from 2009 will be return to the parade INSTEAD of a 5th Mickey Mouse balloon.
