Deleted via AfD and contested. While I remember it being broadcast as a paid program in Canada in the 80s, I cannot find any independent sources for it. It therefore fails WP:GNG. Walter Görlitz (talk) 07:37, 27 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Keep. The Globe and Mail,[1] the National Post[2] and The Hamilton Spectator[3] support the claim that it is Canada's longest-running daily talk show. The Toronto Star says it's the longest-running religious daily show,[4] but its obituary of the founder prominently mentions the show in the heading: "David Mainse, founder and host of 100 Huntley Street, dies at 81". There is also a claim that it is the 6th longest-running daily television show in the world by Faith in Canada 150, apparently run by Cardus.[5] I haven't found confirmation of that record yet, but the other record is pretty notable, IMO. Also, Broadview magazine does have an article about the show: "The real story of 100 Huntley Street". Clarityfiend (talk) 11:06, 27 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not Canadian, or an expert in the matter, but as someone who successfully WP:PRODded this before it was WP:REFUNDed, I would say we should wait a bit before nominating this for deletion. pburka requested a refund, but has not made edits (and possibly has not had time to make edits) to the article yet. —AFreshStart (talk) 17:46, 27 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

- I did do BEFORE and found nothing. Obviously not the news side. With that said, the Globe & Mail, National Post and Toronto Star articles are about David Mainse's death, not the program; it only gets a passing mention in each. The Hamilton Spectator piece is about Crossroads Centre, the broadcast and ministry centre, not the program; again, only passing mention. faithincanada150.ca is a database entry and is immaterial.   - "Only a passing mention"? The Globe and Mail article has at least four paragraphs about the show. The National Post said "The show would span decades and become a fixture on the dial for Canadians, whether they were seeking out the good word or simply flipping channels." Comment. A program that aired nationally on major networks for decades would never be an uncontroversial deletion and the page never should have been PRODded. - We are not talking about Friends or The Simpsons. This was a paid program. It was not broadcast because stations paid them for the opportunity to air it; Crossroads Communications had to pay to have it aired. Please stop misconstruing the facts. Keep. With such a long-running show, you should also conduct searches for material that is offline or behind paywalls. In particular, a Proquest search yields numerous hits to articles specifically about this subject. (I cannot access any of the articles, so cannot offer opinions about their coverage.) Some examples:
